Your membership assists us with:

• Establishing, promoting and maintaining the Nanaimo Blues Festival, a world-class blues festival in downtown Nanaimo, BC drawing from the wealth of fine blues musicians in BC, across the country and around the world.
• Developing and presenting other musical events that will provide enjoyment for the community, showcasing area musical talent, building understanding of and appreciation for the Blues and stimulating the local economy.
• Creating ways to engage youth in music, and provide youth with opportunities for musical education and development.
• Fostering and encouraging mentorship among musicians and creating opportunities (workshops, jams etc) for education, networking and exchanging knowledge.
• Building lasting partnerships with businesses and organizations in support of the Society’s objectives.
